A Heartfelt Thank You for a Beautiful Plant Swap Gathering

Our recent plant swap on 11/23/25 was nothing short of magical. What began as a simple community gathering turned into an afternoon full of connection, laughter, learning, and of course — plants finding new loving homes. We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended, contributed, and supported this event. Seeing so many plant lovers come together created the kind of cozy, joyful atmosphere that reminds us exactly why community matters.

During the event, we briefly discussed helpful tips for winter plant care and how to recognize and manage common pests as we move into the colder season. A special thank you goes to Skot Wiedmann for sharing his knowledge and passion through a wonderful bonsai presentation. He also generously invited attendees to continue their bonsai journey by joining his upcoming bonsai event on December 13th — a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in this beautiful art form.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our generous partners who helped make the day even more special. Thank you to BakeLab on Neal st. and Schnucks of Savoy for the delicious coffee and cookies that added an extra layer of comfort and warmth to our gathering.
