Growing With Our Youth

One of the collaborations closest to my heart has been with Novak Academy. It all started when they invited me to be a guest speaker to talk with their students about entrepreneurship—what it really takes to start a business, the ups and downs, and how passion can lead to purpose. That first visit sparked something special. Since then, we’ve deepened the relationship through hands-on plant workshops for students as part of Unit 4 School District programming.

These sessions go far beyond teaching plant care—they’re about growth, responsibility, creativity, and seeing what's possible. Watching students light up as they pot their first plant or discover the magic of propagation has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.
