Celebrate Mom’s Weekend with a creative greenhouse experience at Prairie Gardens. Join Luscious Leaves LLC for a special hands-on terrarium workshop designed to be beginner-friendly, memorable, and fun.

This workshop is a beautiful way to spend time together during Mom’s Weekend, whether you attend with your mom, your college student, a family member, or simply come on your own for a relaxing and inspiring afternoon in the greenhouse.

During the workshop, each guest will create their own planted terrarium while learning the basics of terrarium design, layering, plant selection, and arrangement. Each ticket includes a standard 5 x 7 inch terrarium vessel, along with the materials needed to build a complete terrarium to take home.

Included with ticket:

• One standard 5 x 7 inch terrarium vessel
• Guided step-by-step instruction
• Curated terrarium plants
• Drainage layer, charcoal, and terrarium soil
• Decorative sands and stones
• Natural rocks and small driftwood pieces
• Terrarium care guidance

Optional add-ons available on site:

• Upgraded vessels
• Premium crystals
• Larger specialty driftwood pieces

For guests who would like to create something larger or more statement-focused, upgraded vessels will be available for purchase during the workshop.
