This consult is focused on plant placement, light strategy, and a simple plan so everything works together—beautifully and sustainably.
What we’ll do during the visit
- Assess natural light + problem areas (window direction, hot spots, low-light zones)
- Identify microclimates (vents, drafts, heat sources, humidity pockets)
- Create plant “zones” so plants with similar needs live together
- Placement + styling guidance (height layering, focal points, sight lines)
- Grow light guidance (what type to buy, where to place it, and how long to run it)
- Care routine coaching (watering approach, seasonal shifts, common pitfalls)

- Repotting/soil work (requires advance request or dedicated session)
- Pest treatment (can be scheduled as a follow-up if needed)
Before I arrive (to get the most out of it)
- Have plants accessible if possible (or tell me where they are)
- Set out any grow lights/bulbs you already own
- Share your goals: low maintenance, lush jungle, pet-safe, professional office look, etc.
Service area & travel fees
Travel is included within 15 miles (driving distance) of Seymour, IL (including Champaign-Urbana, Mahomet, and Mansfield).
For visits beyond 15 miles, a travel fee may apply: $0.75 per mile (round-trip) for miles beyond the 15-mile radius. I’ll confirm any travel fee before scheduling.
